3. Legally Required Guest Registration in Turkey
According to Turkish law, landlords of holiday homes must:

• Register all guests in the official system, including name, length of stay, and rental price
• Submit tax-relevant information
• Use a valid short-term rental license if the stay is less than 100 days

4. Purpose of Data Processing
Your data is processed for the following purposes:

• Booking processing and management
• Identity verification in accordance with Turkish Rental Guidelines
• Fulfillment of legal registration obligations in Turkey
• Communication before, during, and after the stay
• Preparation of legally required tax documents

5. Legal Basis
Processing is based on:

• Performance of a rental agreement (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR)
• Fulfillment of legal obligations under Turkish rental laws (e.g., Law No. 7464)

6. Disclosure of Data
Data is disclosed exclusively:

• to Turkish authorities as part of the legally required guest registration
• to tax authorities, if necessary
• to service providers (e.g., property management), only if necessary for the performance of the contract
Data will not be disclosed to third parties for advertising purposes.

7. Storage and Deletion of Data
• Data collected due to legal obligations is stored in accordance with Turkish retention periods.

• Contract and communication data will only be stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.

• After the statutory retention periods have expired, the data will be securely deleted.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)
Even if the holiday home is located in Turkey, EU citizens have the following rights:

• Access to stored data
• Rectification of inaccurate data
• Erasure (unless otherwise required by law)
• Restriction of processing
• Objection to processing
• Data portability

9. Use of Online Booking Platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.)
Rental platforms must ensure that landlords are correctly registered in accordance with new Turkish law.

These platforms independently process personal data as part of a booking.

11. Changes to the Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be amended at any time due to legal changes in Turkey or the EU.
